What Is Millionaire’s Bacon?
The origin story of this snack is a bit of a debate, but most evidence points to San Francisco’s Sweet Maple restaurant. Similar to candied bacon, the big difference boils down to the added spices in this variation. Other names may include Pig Candy or Man Candy.

Ingredients:
- 450g of thick-cut bacon
- 100g of brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons of maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon of smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt

Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to catch drippings.

- Lay the bacon slices on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they do not overlap.
- Brush the maple syrup over each bacon slice.
