Maple Baked Apples


Preparation Time:

Ingredients:

  • 4 medium-sized apples
  • 1/2 cup of maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup of chopped walnuts
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup of dried cranberries
  • 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Baking dish
  • Knife
  • Spoon
  • Oven
  • Peeler

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Core the apples with a knife, making sure to create enough space for the filling.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped walnuts, cinnamon, and dried cranberries.
  • Fill each apple with the walnut and cranberry mixture, packing it tightly.
  • Place the filled apples upright in a baking dish.
  • Drizzle maple syrup over each apple and add a small piece of butter on top of each one.
  • Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the apples are tender and caramelized.
