Ingredients:
- 250g of all-purpose flour
- 100g of granulated sugar
- 75g of brown sugar
- 150g of unsalted butter (softened)
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp of baking soda
- 1/4 tsp of salt
- 200g of chocolate chips

Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar using an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips gently with a spatula.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each cookie.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden, but the centers are still soft.
- Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
