Chocolate Chip Cookies


Preparation Time:

Ingredients:

  • 250g of all-purpose flour
  • 100g of granulated sugar
  • 75g of brown sugar
  • 150g of unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp of baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp of salt
  • 200g of chocolate chips

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Mixing bowl
  • Electric mixer
  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Measuring cups
  • Measuring spoons

Instructions:

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar using an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips gently with a spatula.
  • Drop rounded tablespoons of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each cookie.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden, but the centers are still soft.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
