Ingredients:
- 2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup of granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 cup of cold water
- 3 large apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon of cornstarch

Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, and granulated sugar.
- Cut in butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in cold water a tablespoon at a time until the dough comes together.
- Divide the dough in half, wrap each half in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 10 minutes.
- Roll out one portion of the dough on a floured surface and fit it into a baking dish.
- In another bowl, toss the sliced apples with lemon juice, brown sugar, cornstarch, and cinnamon.
- Pour the apple mixture into the prepared crust.
- Roll out the second portion of the dough and place over the filling. Crimp the edges to seal.
- Cut slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until crust is golden brown and apples are tender.
