Sweet, Savory Honey-Glazed Garlic Salmon

Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 150g each)
  • 1/4 cup of honey
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of freshly grated ginger
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, olive oil, grated ginger, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Place the salmon fillets on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  • Brush the honey-garlic mixture generously over each salmon fillet, ensuring they're well coated.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  • Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
