Ingredients:
- 500g of fresh cranberries
- 300g of sugar
- 200ml of water
- 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
- 1 sprig of mint for garnish

- Blender

- Serving glasses
Instructions:
- Rinse cranberries under cold water and remove any stems or damaged berries.
- In a saucepan, combine water and sugar over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves completely.
- Add cranberries to the saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes until cranberries burst and release their juices.
- Remove from heat and let the mixture cool slightly before transferring to a blender.
- Blend the cranberry mixture until smooth, then strain it through a fine mesh sieve into a mixing bowl to remove the skins.
- Stir in lemon juice and adjust sweetness if necessary.
- Pour the cranberry mixture into an ice cream maker and churn until fluffy and frozen, according to your machine's instructions.
- Transfer the granita to a shallow dish and freeze for at least 30 minutes to set completely.
- Before serving, use a fork to scrape the surface of the granita to create fluffy flakes. Serve in chilled glasses and garnish with mint sprig.
