Fluffy American Blueberry Pancakes

Ingredients:

  • 200g of all-purpose flour
  • 50g of granulated sugar
  • 10g of baking powder
  • 1g of salt
  • 300ml of milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 50g of unsalted butter (melted)
  • 150g of fresh blueberries
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • Maple syrup (for serving)

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Mixing bowl
  • Whisk
  • Griddle or frying pan
  • Measuring cups
  • Spatula
  • Sieve

Instructions:

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  • In another bowl, mix the milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined; do not overmix.
  • Fold in the fresh blueberries carefully to avoid breaking them.
  • Heat a griddle or frying pan over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or cooking spray.
  • Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the hot griddle for each pancake.
  • Cook until small bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown on the other side.
  • Repeat with the remaining batter, greasing the griddle as needed.
  • Serve the pancakes warm with maple syrup drizzled on top.
