Hawaiian Pizza


This Hawaiian pizza has a nice crunchy crust with flavorful toppings, including pineapple that has a slight smoky flavor.


Preparation Time:

Ingredients:

  • 500g of pizza dough
  • 200g of pizza sauce
  • 200g of mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 150g of cooked ham, sliced
  • 150g of pineapple chunks, drained
  • 50g of black olives, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes (optional)

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Pizza stone
  • Rolling pin
  • Oven
  • Baking sheet
  • Pasta cutter
  • Mixing bowl

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 220°C (430°F) and place the pizza stone inside to heat up.
  • On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a large circle about 1/2 inch thick.
  • Transfer the rolled dough onto a baking sheet or pizza peel.
  • Spread a generous amount of pizza sauce over the dough, leaving a border around the edges.
  • Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella evenly on top of the sauce.
  • Layer the sliced ham and pineapple chunks evenly over the cheese.
  • Add the sliced black olives for an extra burst of flavor.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the toppings and sprinkle with oregano and red pepper flakes if desired.
  • Slide the pizza onto the preheated pizza stone in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  • Remove the pizza from the oven, let it cool for a couple of minutes, and slice into wedges to serve.
