  • 120ml of BBQ sauce
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil
  • 1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp of honey
  • 1 tsp of smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 1/2 tsp of black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp of cayenne pepper
  • fresh cilantro for garnish

  • whisk
  • measuring cups
  • measuring spoons

Instructions:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the BBQ sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, honey, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Whisk until well combined.
  • Place the chicken breasts in a large zip-lock bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, making sure each piece is well coated.
  • Seal the bag or cover the dish, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, allowing the flavors to soak in.

  • Remove the chicken from the marinade, letting any excess drip off. Place the chicken on the grill.
  • Grill the chicken for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 75°C (165°F) and has nice grill marks.
  • Once done, remove the chicken from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  • Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot.
