Classic Cobb Salad

Ingredients:

  • 150g of mixed greens
  • 100g of cooked chicken breast, diced
  • 50g of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
  • 100g of cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 100g of avocado, diced
  • 50g of blue cheese, crumbled
  • 30ml of olive oil
  • 15ml of red wine vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • chef's knife
  • cutting board
  • mixing bowl
  • whisk
  • salad spinner

Instructions:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the mixed greens and cherry tomatoes. Toss gently to mix.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together olive oil, red wine vinegar, salt, and pepper to create the dressing.
  • On a large serving plate, layer the mixed greens and cherry tomatoes as a base.
  • Arrange the diced chicken, crumbled bacon, chopped hard-boiled eggs, diced avocado, and blue cheese on top of the greens in sections to create a visually appealing pattern.
  • Drizzle the dressing evenly over the salad before serving.
