Preparation Time:

  • 45 min

Ingredients:

  • 500g of beef sirloin, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/4 cup of soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup of honey
  • 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of freshly grated ginger
  • 1 bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 red onion, cut into wedges
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon of ground black pepper
  • Salt to taste

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • grill skewers
  • mixing bowl
  • grill
  • cutting board
  • knife

Instructions:

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and ground black pepper to create your marinade.
  • Add the beef cubes to the marinade, mixing until well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Soak wooden skewers in water for 10 minutes to prevent burning if using a grill.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Thread the marinated beef, bell peppers, and onion onto the skewers, alternating between ingredients.
  • Season the skewers with a pinch of salt and sesame seeds before placing them on the grill.
  • Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until the beef is cooked to your desired level of doneness and veggies are tender.
  • Remove the kabobs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
  • Serve warm, drizzled with any remaining marinade if desired.
